Covid-19: Wellbeing Support for Families

If you or your family need support during this challenging time, the government and the NHS have given lots of advice about the Coronavirus (also called Covid-19) which is available on their websites. In addition, there are links below to lists of services and charities that can provide mental health and wellbeing support - as well as signpost to other sources of information and advice.

In the event of school closure, for urgent messages only, our school email address: will remain open so that we can support our families.

As adults, we must be aware that children's anxieties may be heightened during this time. You know your child best, but together we should:

  • Do our best not to sensationalise or over-dramatise issues;
  • Steer children away from some of the news coverage and social media channels (as this can exacerbate anxieties);
  • Stick to known facts, rather than speculation; and
  • Avoid passing our own concerns to our children.

We remain committed to supporting our families at all times so please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the leadership team, or Miss Hobbs, if you have questions or concerns.
