School times

The school gates open at 8.40am with a soft start, where children walk independently into school, to their classrooms and begin key routines for the school day.

School begins at 8.45am

Morning break:

10.30am - 10.45am (KS1)

10.45am - 11.00am (KS2)

Lunch break:
12.00pm - 1.00pm (EYFS)

12.00pm - 1.00pm (KS1)

12.15pm - 1.15pm (Years 3 & 4)

12.30pm - 1.30pm (Years 5 & 6)

Afternoon break:
2.00pm - 2.15pm (KS1)

School ends at 3.15pm

This equates to 32.5 hours in a typical week.

Nursery

Morning session - 8.45am - 11.45am = 15 hours per week
Afternoon session - 12.30pm - 3.30pm = 15 hours per week

For those children entitled to the 30 hour provision, who stay throughout the lunch break, the school week is typically 33 hours and 45 minutes.
