Maths on the boil

Basic Maths Skills are taught daily in the Maths and wider Curriculum. In KS1 and KS2, children are taught arithmetic skills. Within these lessons children taught a variety of methods to support them to answer questions efficiently and accurately. 

All  teachers use content from the Mental maths 5 a day book, The content focuses mainly on number bonds, times tables and core arithmetic skills. The book can be used from Reception to Year Six.
